For this project I chose to create a poster for a para, or Mrs. Dyke, to promote a the Writers Club, which she sponsors. Not only did I choose this project because I was interested but I am also the co president of the Writers Club and I wanted to promote the club in order to grow.

To create the poster I utilized a clipping mask, in order to allow the letters to stand out. The reason I chose to use an old looking parchement paper is to relate it to old documents. The reson I included books is to illustate where the majority of people experience writing, and what the majority of the members in her club stive to accomplish.

The first photo merger is of the earth and hands. This merger represented the quote merger. Overall I liked this merger, however I struggled with shading and balencing the photos contrasts.

The second merger is of a dog with eagle wings. I chose these to combine because I wanted to portray the dog as sad and at risk of death because he didn't have a home. I had the same struggle of shading on this merger as I did the other.

Although I liked these pictures and the ideas behind them, I have to say they weren't my favorite of the projects I completed this semester. However, that being said I stil enjoyed taking this class and learning how to do these things.

These pictures were taken using photobooth. I chose to include these pictures in my final because I liked how they turned out, considering they are portraits.

The first picture is of me and utilized many different effects. Some effetcs I used were the brightness and contrast, black and white, and a variety of selection tools. Overall I am proud of this photo because I think it turned out great.

The second picture is a picture I completed during ACU on Thursday's. The picture is of Amu who enjoyes photobooth and I offered to edit a picture of her. With this photo I struglled with the inbalance of light from the sides. However, even though it took a while to figure out I solved it and the picture turned out nice.

The last picture is also a project I did during ACU. I chose to do this because I thought it was a good idea. This is my favorite unoffical project becasue I think it turned out really good. To create the picture I merged three photo's. I began with a tree that only had branches, then added splatter paint, and finally took the merged images to a shadow of people.
